"Mario Circuit"[1] is the theme from Super Mario Kart composed by Soyo Oka and used in Mario Circuit 1, Mario Circuit 2, Mario Circuit 3, and Mario Circuit 4. It has been reused and rearranged as those courses have returned throughout the Mario Kart series.

Mario Kart series
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario Circuit 1, Mario Circuit 2, Mario Circuit 3, and Mario Circuit 4 all return as retro courses in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, along with a new arrangement of the "Mario Circuit" theme. This arrangement is similar to the original, but it adds some chiptune instrumentation and uses lower-quality synthetic instruments.

Mario Kart DS
SNES Mario Circuit 1 returns as a retro course in Mario Kart DS along with an arrangement of the "Mario Circuit" theme very faithful to the original.

Mario Kart 7
SNES Mario Circuit 2 returns as a retro course in Mario Kart 7 along with an arrangement of the "Mario Circuit" theme. This arrangement uses higher quality samples, but it is otherwise almost identical to the original.
The arrangement returns for SNES Mario Circuit 1, SNES Mario Circuit 2, SNES Mario Circuit 3, and RMX Mario Circuit 1 in Mario Kart Tour.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
SNES Mario Circuit 3 was added as a retro course to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass along with an arrangement of "Mario Circuit". This arrangement adds piano accompaniment and drum kit percussion to the theme, but it is otherwise almost identical to the original.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Smash Bros. Brawl features an electro house arrangement of the theme as a playable track, titled "Mario Circuit", and incorporates the starting grid countdown theme used to signal the start of the race in Super Mario Kart. It can be played on the Mario Circuit stage.
The arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can be played on the same stage, and in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Mario Circuit - Super Mario Kart", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.

In Super Mario 3D World, an arrangement of "Mario Circuit" plays in the level Mount Must Dash, which is itself based on Super Mario Kart's versions of Mario Circuit.
