Long Claw of the Law is a 4-Player minigame from Mario Party 4. Its name is a pun on the phrase "long arm of the law."

Gameplay

The minigame starts with each character controlling an extendable claw. A Wanted! poster is seen, with a picture of one of the following: Goomba, Bob-omb, Chain Chomp, Boo, Thwomp, or Shy Guy. Players must use their claws to grab three of the type of enemy seen on the Wanted! poster, who are hiding in various doors throughout the setting. The doors will open and close, so players will need to time their grab. Although the player needs to capture only one type of enemy, four of the six appear in the game. If the player attempts to grab the wrong type of enemy, the door will slam shut immediately. The first player to grab three of the right enemy wins. If nobody does so within 60 seconds, the minigame will end in a draw.
