After the turn is another straight path with four Item Boxes and two Star Thwomps. There is a left turn which leads to a Glide Ramp. In the gliding section, there is a large number of asteroids that can knock the player back, and in the middle of the section there is a small path of road and another Glide Ramp. After the gliding section there is a right turn, two small ramps and another right turn. After the turn there is a path with two Star Thwomps, four Item Boxes, a right turn, and a Glide Ramp. In the second gliding section there are three sets of Star Rings. There is then a left turn leading to the Finish Line. The Reverse variant of the course is similar, though it only has two sets of Star Rings and includes a Mushroom Trampoline at the end of the course. The Trick variant has additional ramps, parts of the track which move like waves without Star Thwomps, and replaces both gliding sections with platforms with ramps.

This article is about the race course in Mario Kart Tour. For the Rainbow Road course in Super Mario Kart, see SNES Rainbow Road.

Template:Racecourse RMX Rainbow Road 1 is a race course in Mario Kart Tour. It is a remix version of the Rainbow Road course from Super Mario Kart that debuted in the Super Mario Kart Tour. The course also appears as RMX Rainbow Road 1R (reverse variant), RMX Rainbow Road 1T (trick variant) and RMX Rainbow Road 1R/T (reverse/trick variant). The course is a favorite of Birdo (Blue), Cat Peach, Mario (Happi), Rosalina (Aurora), Rosalina (Swimwear), Mario (SNES), Fire Rosalina, and Pauline (Rose). It is also a favorite of Luigi (Painter) if he is at level 3, and Dry Bowser (Gold) and Bowser Jr. (Pirate) if they are at level 6.

It shares its music with SNES Rainbow Road, which is the same arrangement as in Mario Kart 7.
