A Single Swing Lift[1] is a type of lift in Super Mario World. It is attached to a pivot point. Single Swing Lifts come in two versions. The gray ones perpetually rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. The brown ones do not move until Mario or Luigi stands on them. When Mario or Luigi stands on a brown Single Swing Lift, it rotates in the direction of the side he is standing on. If Mario or Luigi stands on the lift for too long, it eventually stops moving at the bottom, and he cannot make it swing back to the top. Brown Single Swing Lifts are mostly found in Yoshi's Island 3.
