Template:Species-infobox Mincers are spiky tire obstacles that appear in both Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land.
History
Donkey Kong Country
In Donkey Kong Country, Mincers appear in some of the later levels, starting with Torchlight Trouble. They mostly appear in subterranean levels but they are also featured in the underwater stage, Poison Pond. Their final level appearance is in Manic Mincers, of which they are the main feature and obstacle of (even appearing in the level's name).
Mincers are completely invulnerable and cannot be defeated by any attack, including those from Animal Friends and a TNT Barrel. This means that Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong must avoid them.
Mincers share the same movements with Zingers, as they either move continuously in a set pattern or do not move around. The idle Mincers are either on the ground or are floating in mid-air.
Donkey Kong Land
In Donkey Kong Land, they have the same role as they did in Donkey Kong Country. The level Spiky Tyre Trail also prominently features them. They usually appear in Bonus Levels, such as in Deck Trek and in Button Barrel Blast, which is the last level they appear in.
