The '''Hammer Bro Tour''' was the fourteenth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on March 25, 2020 and ended on April 7, 2020. Template:MKTTour The Hammer Bro Tour was the fourteenth tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on March 25, 2020 and ended on April 7, 2020. It was the second tour to be named directly after a character. The featured course of the tour was Donut Plains 1 from Super Mario Kart, while also bringing back Bowser's Castle 2 from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, making it the first tour to introduce a new Retro Course since the Ice Tour. Hence the name, the tour marked the playable debut of Hammer Bro (who was originally going to be playable in Mario Kart Wii), Boomerang Bro, Ice Bro, and Fire Bro, in which they also acted as the spotlight characters for the tour. Additionally, unlike the previous two tours, each week's respective pipes reverted to having 100 items in the pipe instead of 50. The menu's background featured the hills from Donut Plains 1 as the landmark for this tour.
A datamine revealed a string containing emergency_secondTour associated to the Hammer Bro Tour.[1] It was later determined that emergency_ is a prefix for in-game news items that open automatically upon launch.[2]
