Refresh is a special move that is found during the events of Paper Mario.
Eldstar, one of the seven Star Spirits, teaches Mario the ability to Refresh after Mario defeats the Koopa Bros.. The move consumes 1 SP. If used, Mario will recover five HP and five FP. As Mario levels up and increases his HP and FP, the special move will eventually become less important, although it can still be useful to recover the FP if the player doesn't spend too much FP. The move also removes some ailments, such as poison.
