Winged GoombasTemplate:Refneeded, also known as Flying Goombas[1], are Galoombas with wings. They first appear in Super Mario World and its remakes, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 and Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. They act much like Paragoombas do, jumping around using their wings. Once stomped on, they change back into normal Galoombas, and their wings disappear, again like how Paragoombas turn into regular Goombas when stomped.

In Super Mario Adventures, a Winged Goomba makes a relatively minor appearance, being seen among the creatures sent by Bowser to attack Princess Toadstool's Palace. One is also seen among the attendees to Bowser's marriage to the hypnotized Princess Toadstool.

They reappear in Super Mario Maker only in Super Mario World style if the player put wings on a Galoomba.
