Warp Boxes are square objects appearing in Super Mario 3D Land. Warp Boxes are orange, outlined clear boxes with exclamation marks on the sides. When Mario or Luigi run into a Warp Box, they are teleported to another Warp Box in another area, in a similiar manner of Warp Pipes and Launch Stars.
In the early stages of the game, Warp Boxes could also warp Mario to bonus rooms and were purple. However, Mystery Boxes replaced them. After they come out of a warp box, it may sometimes disappear, leaving Mario or Luigi no way back.
