Template:Item-infobox Statue Leaves are rare items found in Super Mario 3D Land. When Mario or Luigi grabs a Statue Leaf, he transforms into his Tanooki form and gains the ability to transform into a statue and thus avoid enemies and hazards.
When Mario uses a Statue Leaf, he can turn into a statue instead of doing a ground pound. When he is in his statue form, enemies cannot hurt him. Mario appears to be wearing a Tanooki Suit with a red bandana wrapped around his neck. This power-up first appears in Special 1-1 in Super Mario 3D Land.
