Star Twirlers are enemies encountered in the game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They appear only in the Space Zone. Star Twirlers impede Mario's progress by throwing explosive stars at him. However, they can be defeated with a simple stomp or a Fireball. They vaguely resemble a cross between goombas and a cartoon flying saucer.
