Dokanto[1] are enemies in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are a variety of ants with head-mounted cannons that shoot small deadly pellets out. Dokanto can be defeated either from being jumped on or from a fireball. They are encountered only in the first stage of Macro Zone.

アリの一族アントット一家の兵隊アリ。背中に大砲を積んでいる。一定の間隔で大砲を撃ってくるが、動きはそれほど速くないので、踏みつけて、やっつけてしまおう。[2]

A soldier ant of the ant family, a family of ants. They carry cannons on their backs. They fire their cannons at regular intervals, but they do not move very fast, so stomp on them and eliminate them.
