Variant of Koin

The Koindozer Klan[1] are magenta relatives of Koin in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, appearing only in the level Koindozer Klamber. Koindozer's name is a portmanteau of Koin, a related enemy, and "bulldozer," a vehicle commonly used at construction sites. Unlike Koins, Koindozers try to attack the Kongs, in addition to blocking their attacks, by chasing them down and trying to knock them into an abyss, or other enemies, using their lids. Like Koin, Koindozers can be used as platforms by the Kongs. Koindozers cannot be defeated, even by Steel Kegs. Koindozers are one of the only enemies to not appear in Dixie Kong's Photo Album at the end.

  • Player's Guide:[1] The Koindozers will relentlessly shove you if you stand next to them. Like Koin, you can stand directly on top of them and use them as a platforms.[sic] Dixie's Helicopter Spin makes it easier to come to a pinpoint landing directly on their shields. Sometimes you'll need to lure the Koindozers into a position where they can help you reach a higher platform.
