The Black Shielded Speedster is a High-End kart in Mario Kart Tour. It was introduced in the 2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour and, as its name indicates, it is a black variant of the Shielded Speedster, with a purple cape and frill, and a red and black flag. It uses purple-rimmed versions of the Iron Cucumber's tires, which the Shielded Speedster uses. Unlike the Shielded Speedster, this kart increases the duration of Slipstream boosts and the number of points awarded for performing a Slipstream.
Availability
The Black Shielded Speedster cannot currently be obtained from pipes, and it is not part of the Daily Selects lineup. The following table shows the kart's availability by tour.
