The Sundae Tour is the seventy-sixth tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on August 10, 2022 and ends on August 23, 2022. As the tour's name indicates, it introduces Sky-High Sundae from Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (which was released a day prior to the tour's announcement, on August 4) as a new course, making this the first course to debut in the aforementioned game and later make an appearance in Mario Kart Tour. White Tanooki Mario from Super Mario 3D Land also appears as a new driver. The tour also introduces many dessert-related karts and gliders. This is the first tour to feature a trailer showing the new course before the title and banner.

Continuing from the previous tour, the Summertime Celebration event concludes in this tour.

Today's Challenge

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in GCN Baby Park R in the Mii Cup using the Ice Cream Mii Racing Suit for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
