Diddy & Dixie Barrels[1], also known as Character Barrels[2], are a type of Barrel Kannon that only appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
The Diddy & Dixie Barrels can only be entered by the Kong that they depict, either Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong; by doing so, that Kong is blasted out from the Diddy & Dixie Barrel (the other Kong automatically follows them). If either Diddy or Dixie try to enter a Diddy & Dixie Barrel that does not depict them, they pass straight through the barrel. Diddy or Dixie can also enter their respective Diddy & Dixie Barrel if the other Kong throws them into it via the Team-up ability.
A Diddy & Dixie Barrel sometimes appears at an End of Level Target, and it allows the Kongs to claim a prize upon hitting a target.
