Template:Missionbox Burning Tide is the hidden sixth mission of the Melty Molten Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. This mission takes place during the first mission.

Layout

The player needs to proceed through the mission as normal until they reach the first large glass sphere, collecting as many Star Bits as they can when doing so. On the first glass sphere planet, the player will find a Hungry Luma who asks the player to feed him a total of 80 Star Bits. If the conditions are met, the Hungry Luma will transform into a new planet, with a Pink Launch Star appear to send the player to it.

The new planet has lava rise and lower all around it, with the lighter ground areas signifying where the lava does not reach. Placed along the paths of the planet are five Silver Stars the player has to collect while avoiding the rising lava and enemies. Once all five Silver Stars are collected, the Power Star will appear.
