Template:Worldbox Special 3 is the eleventh world and the third special world in Super Mario 3D Land. The level takes place in a flowery field at night, like the others, with several hills and trees in the background. It is unlocked by completing Template:World-link. The world is one of the few that lacks a boss at the end. The world contains six levels and a Mystery Box.

Levels

Level Preview Description
Special 3-1 Special 3-1 An athletic level which extensively features pendulum-esque platforms. The second original level of the Special Worlds.
Special 3-2 Special 3-2 A level similar to World 4-3 that is structured slightly differently, but overall follows the same path.
Special 3-3 Special 3-3 A harder version of World 7-3 with the time set to 30 seconds. Possesses a daytime setting and the athletic theme is replaced with the overworld theme.
Special 3-4 Special 3-4 A harder version of World 7-2 with more aggressive obstacles.
Special 3-5 Special 3-5 A harder version of World 6-4 with the Beep Blocks going one by one. A different music track plays to accompany this change.
Template:World-link Special 3-Airship A harder version of World 2-Airship that autoscrolls much faster. There is no boss. Requires 140 Star Medals to be unlocked.
