Template:Kart-infobox The Mushmellow is Toad's first special kart in Mario Kart DS. It has average handling tying with the Standard LG, Streamliner, ROB-BLS and Standard RB. It also has average drift matching the Hurricane, Standard TD and Standard BW. It has fairly low speed, matching the Standard TD and Royale. It has low weight tying with the Egg 1. Its items stat is low, but features and high acceleration tying with the Standard TD, Egg 1, Standard YS and Cucumber. It bears a resemblance to the Mash Run from Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. The kart's name is a portmanteau of Mushroom and Marshmallow, also including the word "mellow".

The kart is unlocked for Yoshi and Dry Bones as well when the player gets gold trophies in all Nitro or Retro Courses in 150cc, and becomes available for everyone else when gold trophies are obtained in every cup in Mirror Mode.

The Mushmellow returned in Mario Kart Tour. It appears to be equipped with the Standard tires, based on their appearance from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
