Mincers are spiky tire-like objects appearing in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land. Mincers appear as spinning wheels with spikes covering their tires. They act in a very similar manner as the Zingers, but are completely invincible to all attack methods (including Animal Friend attacks). Because of this behavior, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong must avoid Mincers to keep themselves from losing a life. Mincers appear in a few levels like "Torchlight Trouble" and "Poison Pond". The stage "Manic Mincers" prominently features them. It may move back and forth to attack the Kongs with its spikes, or even spin around in the air.
In Donkey Kong Land, they have the same role as they did in Donkey Kong Country. The level Spiky Tyre Trail also prominently features them.
