Cowfish were strange enemies found in the Tree Zone during the events of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Cow-fishes are found in the trunk level of the Tree Zone, on the surface of the small pond with bubbles floating upward. If Mario entered the water it was in, the Cowfish would charge at him horizontally. To destroy this cow-fish hybrid, Mario had to jump on top of it or throw a fireball at it.
