Template:Levelbox World 5-5 is the fifth level of World 5 in Super Mario 3D Land. It is a sky level, with various grass-covered platforms, with some clouds. Propeller Boxes are scattered around to reach platforms. Some wind turbines are seen on the bottom of the level.
Layout
Mario starts in a floating land with a Grand Tail Goomba and two ? Blocks, one of them can be turned into a Propeller Box. Mario uses it to jump on clouds and more land platforms, crossing Biddybuds. Mario will reach on a platform with a Goomba Tower made of nine Goombas. A small piece of land contains three Question Blocks, one of them can become into a Propeller Box. Riding on a cloud, Mario is taken to a bouncy bulbous platform. Jumping on it, the plumber hops very high until reach on a platform with another giant tailed Goomba. Another small platform, also containg ? Blocks (one of them being a propel box) is found. Mario in the Propeller Box must jump to two rail clouds, until reach on another platform, with a Checkpoint Flag and a pair of Binoculars (used to see Toad wearing a Propeller Box who demonstrates the usage of the power-up to Mario by spinning down from an extreme height to the flagpole). Ahead, more two ? Blocks can be hitted. Mario, then, needs to jump towards three bouncy orange objects and soon, a floating land. There are two Grand Tail Goombas. A narrow path will lead Mario to an area, that at first seems empty, and sees a P-Switch that collects all sixteen music notes. Very far below, the hero will find a small bouncy platforms, tiny land platforms, Wooden Blocks, and Para-Biddybuds, until reach on a platform with the Goal Pole.
Star Medals
- Star Medal 1: After going through a part of the level, the player will come across a Grand Tail Goomba. Nearby is the first medal, which requires a Propeller Block to obtain it.
- Star Medal 2: After the checkpoint, there will be a multitude of bouncy platforms. The first medal is located between two platforms and requires the Propeller Block in order to get it successfully.
- Star Medal 3: The third medal can be found on the way down to the flagpole.
