Tail Bullet Bills are a sub-species of Bullet Bill with Tanooki tails that appear as enemies in Super Mario 3D Land. Like most Bullet Bills, they are fired out of Bill Blasters and fly in the direction they are fired in, in hopes of hitting their target; however, they will briefly slow down and do a spin attack with their tails after traveling a certain amount of distance when flying. Their spin attack can easily be avoided if the player remembers their pattern right. After defeating a Tail Bullet Bill, Mario sometimes can obtain a Super Leaf (Statue Leaves in Special World levels).
