A Tamanoripū (Japanese: タマノリプー) is a bear-like enemy in the Mario Zone of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Tamanoripū are usually found riding atop circus balls. They can use these circus balls to traverse spiky and dangerous floors. Mario can jump or throw a fireball to defeat this enemy and comandeer his ball. Mario can use the ball to safely cross spiked floors and get to previously unreachable areas in the Mario Zone. Tamanoripū look like teddy bears and are exclusive to the second level of the Mario Zone.
