A Golden Tail Goomba is a Goomba with a Tanooki tail, but gold. It attacks by swinging its tail like Tanooki Mario.
History
Super Mario 3D Land
Golden Tail Goombas make their first appearance in Super Mario 3D Land, where they attack like Tanooki Mario. They jump sooner than Regular Tail Goombas. They are defeated like normal Goombas. They appear to be able to fly like Tanooki Mario, but farther than Normal Tail Goombas.
