Kaboings are gray and green colored reptilian enemies, members of the Kremling Krew. They look exactly like Klomps, but instead of possessing one peg-leg like the latter, Kaboings have two.

Kaboings are first encountered in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest as common enemies. Due to having two peg-legs, Kaboings are incapable of walking normally and instead bounce and attempt to land on or slam into Diddy or Dixie. A simple bonk on the head is enough to defeat a Kaboing.
The Kaboings of DKC2DKQ are mainly beige, but the green type is present in some of the latter levels. Kaboings have a set pattern of bouncing around the level. A Kaboing often stands on a platform, waiting for Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong to be in sight before jumping off. The green Kaboings are different in that they move slightly faster and jump slightly higher than their beige counterparts. In the cast roll, Kaboings are classified as part of the "Kremling Kuthroats". In the DKC2GBA, a photograph of Kaboing can be obtained by defeating a green one towards the end of Rattle Battle.

In some later levels of the game, light green version of Kaboings are encountered. These green Kaboings can jump slightly higher and move slightly faster. In Web Woods, green Kaboings wait on higher platforms to jump down and ambush Squitter.
Every Kaboing in DKL2 behaves like the beige type from the previous game.

Kaboings also appear in Donkey Kong Country 2's pseudo-sequel Donkey Kong Land 2. Here, they remain the same, and have no difference whatsoever in appearance.

Kaboings[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. They are Klomps except they have two peg legs, which appear to be fashioned from retractable spyglasses, and Kaboings have to bounce to move around. They behave like the jumping Kritters from Donkey Kong Country and would have their behavior inherited by Re-Koils in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.

The Kaboings of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest are mainly beige, but the green type is present in some of the latter levels. In the remake, a photograph of Kaboing can be obtained by defeating a green one towards the end of Rattle Battle.[2]

Every Kaboing in Donkey Kong Land 2 behaves like the beige type from the previous game.
