Kaboings[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. They are Klomps except they have two peg legs, which appear to be fashioned from retractable spyglasses, and Kaboings have to bounce to move around. They behave like the jumping Kritters from Donkey Kong Country and would have their behavior inherited by Re-Koils in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.
The Kaboings of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest are mainly beige, but the green type is present in some of the latter levels. Kaboings have a set pattern of bouncing around the level. A Kaboing often stands on a platform, waiting for Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong to be in sight before jumping off.
