- Not to be confused with Flip Panel.
Yellow squares[1] are platforms that appear in the Toy Time Galaxy on the 8-bit Mario–Luigi planet in Super Mario Galaxy. When stepped on, they start flipping downwards. They continue to turn indefinitely when they are triggered.
A similar planet appears in the Mario Squared Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2, but Flipswitch Panels appear in place of the yellow squares in the first mission. In the second mission, stable yellow platforms appear.
Yellow squares are similar to the red and blue Rotating Panels that appear in Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 3D World.
