Snoutlet, Mario & Luigi: Brothership

Snoutlet is a main character from Mario & Luigi: Brothership. He is a flying piggy bank-like creature who is good friends with Connie and acts as Mario and Luigi's advisor throughout their adventure in Concordia where he resides. Despite his name and appearance, he repeatedly insists that he is not a pig although he often uses pig-related words in his speech. Additionally, his eyes are placed on his outlet-like "snout". His role is similar to Stuffwell, Starlow, and Prince Dreambert from previous Mario & Luigi titles as the brothers' primary companion. Unlike the previous companions, Snoutlet stores himself under Luigi's cap rather than in Mario's overalls. He shares the same species with Concordia's guardian, the Great Conductor, and is his assistant. His name is a portmanteau of "snout", referring to a pig's nose, and "outlet", which refers to an electrical output socket.[1]

During one part of the final battle, Snoutlet must be saved from a Doom Bloom, and his rescue opens up a Luigi Logic option where he (reluctantly) creates a plug-like craft similar to the one Mario and Luigi rode during the first phase of the fight to enter Weeping Reclusa's maw.

Snoutlet also makes a cameo appearance as a statue alongside Luigi that can be placed in Kingdom Builder in Super Mario Run, added in a Mario & Luigi: Brothership-themed event. It is unlocked upon completing six missions during said event.
