In terms of its actual stats, while the Bullet Blaster does have a three-star acceleration stat, it is one of the weaker accelerating karts, equalling the [[Red Fire]], [[Turbo Birdo]], and Parade Kart. Also, its top speed, with four stars, is tied with that of the [[Barrel Train]], [[DK Jumbo]], and [[Piranha Pipes]]. Lastly, although the Bullet Blaster is a lightweight kart, it is tied with the [[Koopa King]] for having the slowest off-road speed in the game.

The Bullet Blaster is a kart in the Mario Kart series. It is shaped like a Banzai Bill with a large yellow rotor surrounding the exhaust pipe.

History[edit]

Mario Kart series[edit]

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![edit]

The Bullet Blaster first appears in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as the signature kart of Bowser Jr. (although the Prima's Official Strategy Guide claims it does not have an associated character[1]). It is a lightweight kart with middleweight and/or heavyweight qualities that is unlocked by winning the Special Cup on 50cc. Like Diddy Kong's Barrel Train, the Bullet Blaster is one of the fastest lightweight karts in the game. It is also one of two karts with high speed to have average acceleration, with the other being the Parade Kart. However, it is the lightest kart in the game, and can be knocked around by any other kart of any weight class. Its horn makes the sound of a noisemaker.

In terms of its actual stats, while the Bullet Blaster does have a three-star acceleration stat, it is one of the weaker accelerating karts, equaling the Red Fire, Turbo Birdo, and Parade Kart. Also, its top speed, with four stars, is tied with that of the Barrel Train, DK Jumbo, and Piranha Pipes. Lastly, although the Bullet Blaster is a lightweight kart, it is tied with the Koopa King for having the slowest off-road speed in the game.

The Bullet Blaster, Red Fire, and Green Fire share the same engine sound.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

The Bullet Blaster returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it appears as a Normal kart. Its design has been updated to be more in line with the Banzai Bill's appearances post-New Super Mario Bros., but with the same yellow rotor as in Double Dash!!. The platform is absent, and the handlebar joints were moved to make room for the driver's emblem. In-game, this kart uses the Birthday Girl's tires, although footage of the Bowser's Shell item shows the kart with the Monster tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe instead.[2] The Bullet Blaster increases the duration of Rocket Start boosts and the points earned for performing a Rocket Start.

The game introduces a red variant of the Bullet Blaster, named the Bull's-Eye Banzai, which also has the Normal classification. It also introduces a silver variant, simply named the Silver Bullet Blaster, as well as a gold variant simply named the Gold Bullet Blaster. Both are classified as High-End karts.

The Bullet Blaster appears in the First Pipe and Second Pipe of each tour and is a part of the base Daily Selects set, but it has also been made available through other means. The following table shows instances of special availability for this kart by tour.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

The Bullet Blaster is a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In The Subspace Emissary, it can be used on a fighter to increase their launch power by 50 points.

In the North American version of the game, the Bullet Bill trophy mistakenly gives the name "Bullet Blaster" for its special cannon. This is corrected to "Bill Blaster" in the PAL version.
