The Player simply needs to go through the Galaxy. At the end, they will find a Power Star. Heres how...
Although Dark Hopper Planet B seems 2-D, players can fall off the edge towards the camera. It is a dark area with more matter droplets that players must follow to get to the pipe. There are also more Magikoopas trying to stop players.

Dark Hopper Planet C is a 2-D area in the level. In this part, players must grab a Spring Mushroom and climb a wall to reach a pipe at the top. There is an ascending spotlight of matter that players must follow or they fall off the planet.

Dark Hopper Planet D
Dark Hopper Planet D is the second 3-D area in the level. In this part of the level, a small network of walkways lead to the Power Star, but are hidden until shone upon by the spotlight of matter, which players must again follow. Once players reach the Power Star at the end, however, there is a Magikoopa that tries to prevent them from reaching the Power Star. The layout of the Maze Walkway Planet in the Flash Black Galaxy is extremely similar to the layout of Dark Hopper Planet D in this galaxy.

1. This galaxy is seperated into four sections, the first area has bouncing liquid giving you area to stand (We'll call them water platoforms), followed by spotlight platforms, then more water platforms, then we move on to area 2.
br
2. You are limited to a 2-D movement (left, right, up, down, but not north or south. You start by wall jumping the water walls, after landing on spotlight platforms. Now while it may be tempting to go left, don't do that unless you need room to stand, now go right until the spotlight platforms stop moving right, now another spotlight is above you, try to wall jump up there, or use a backflip and a spin, and don't get frustrated. Now this second spotlight will move right, keep going and ignore the Magikoopa(s). Go into the warp pipe and you are at area three.
3. You are still limited to a 2-D movement. Now, You can see that you are in a wide spotlight. Now you can jump through pink platforms, but not drop though them, So go through these, Now above you, you see a spring mushroom, and a ? coin, not get the mushroom, and get the ? coin. The ground starts to move, and star bits appear pointing up, which means to not be left behind, as the spotlight starts to go up. Get the star bits with the pointer, and go up, ok, now you are at what looks like stairs with star bits on them, go up them, and then once you see the other stairs, get on them, on now around here, you hear something creaking, don't worry, now once the other platforms above you appear, get on them, now a 1-up can be seen, and a swinging platform is what is creaking, get the 1-up if you really need it. Go up and wait for the pink platform to appear apove you, go up there and another ? coin can be seen. Get it, and dozens of starbits appear, use that pointer to get them, and them wait a while for two seperate pair of pink platforms to appear. Wait for more platforms above you, go up there, and you can easilly see a sling star, bounce to it and it takes you to the warp pipe. Now Do NOT bounce your way to the pipe, you will probrably regret it. We are on to area 4. (If you havn't even lost a single life as to this point, then hurray for you)
4. No more 2-D movement, so thats good; bad news, there is one spotlight, get on it, and it starts to move. O yea BTW there are dead ends, and usually they may have bait. Like those first three coins, so an idea is to keep back, now, try and to take shorter paths, and now that some dead ends are close to a further platforms.  The ground splits into tiny islands, go on the middle one and then your on a wide platform with two Magikoopas. Try to get them both in one spin. The platforms are now red and the star is close.  Try to stay left until the platform splits into more islands.  Keep to the right while on the islands. Now the last platform, go left and follow the path to the star. (^_^ Yay For you ^_^)

Galaxy icon A circular section of the Dark Hopper Planet A

Matter Splatter Galaxy is a galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy. Matter Splatter is a primary stage element in this galaxy, and it consists of droplets of matter that act as disappearing and reappearing platforms Mario can land on; the Darkness Room Planet in the Ghostly Galaxy uses the same concept as this level, although it is much shorter. Magikoopas are the only enemies in this level which appear frequently. Space Fantasy is the music that plays throughout the entire level. This is the only galaxy where the Power Star's light is almost always visible in the background.

Mario's Matter Splatter weapon from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is named after the galaxy.

Areas/planets[edit]

Dark Hopper Planet[edit]

Matter Splatter Galaxy Area 1
Dark Hopper Planet A

Dark Hopper Planet A[1] is the level's starting planet, and hosts the first 3-D area in the level. It contains what seems to be a large room, however, players can stand only on the parts of the room they can see. There are tiny droplets of matter, and players must jump in the puddles of matter they make. Players must also avoid Magikoopas to get to the pipe. The camera in this section is tilted slightly.

Dark Hopper Planet B[edit]

Area 2 from Matter Splatter Galaxy.
Dark Hopper Planet B

Although Dark Hopper Planet B[2] seems 2-D, players can fall off the edge towards the camera. It is a dark area with more matter droplets that players must follow to get to the pipe. There are also more Magikoopas trying to stop players.

Dark Hopper Planet C[edit]

Area 3 from Matter Splatter Galaxy.
Dark Hopper Planet C

Dark Hopper Planet C[3] is a 2-D area in the level. In this part, players must grab a Spring Mushroom and climb a wall to reach a pipe at the top. There is an ascending spotlight of matter that players must follow or they fall off the planet.

Dark Hopper Planet D[edit]

Area 4 from Matter Splatter Galaxy.
Dark Hopper Planet D

Dark Hopper Planet D[4] is the second 3-D area in the level.
