Flaming Tiki Buzzes[1][2] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its port. They are a variant of Tiki Buzzes that are engulfed in flames, and appear the most commonly in levels of the Volcano world. Like their normal counterpart, Flaming Tiki Buzzes are drum-shaped Tikis with large, yellow noses, wings, and eyes carved into them, as well as dark tail feathers. Like their normal counterparts, Flaming Tiki Buzzes are able to fly up and down above gaps and other obstacles. However, unlike the latter, they cannot be jumped on because of their hot flames; any Kong that touches them takes damage and loses a heart. Flaming Tiki Buzzes can be defeated if a barrel is thrown at them. Additionally, the Kongs can put out their flames by blowing at them; this will make the Flaming Tiki Buzz temporarily vulnerable to jumps. However, Flaming Tiki Buzzes are usually flying in out-of-reach locations. Tiki Tong attacks with Flaming Tiki Buzzes during the second phase of his battle.

In Tree Top Bop, there is a Flaming Tiki Buzz with a sparkle effect around it. Defeating it with the DK Barrel from earlier in the level rewards the player with three Red Balloons.[3]
