Variant of Snapjaw

Snap Jaws[1][2] are enemies in Yoshi's Island DS. These red crocodiles are organic counterparts of Snapjaws that constantly move forward and climb down on vines, apparently clinging to them with their huge jaws, and are often seen routinely falling off vines from a spawn point in the trees. Some Snap Jaws also appear without a vine nearby. Contact with a Snap Jaw knocks the baby off the Yoshi's back, but a Snap Jaw can be stomped. Snap Jaws appear mainly in levels where Baby DK is the primary baby, such as in World 3.
