The mini-game takes place in the sky, as the bottom of the sky; the player will see the wide ocean and maybe an island. The three players are seen flying with their airplane that has two balloons at both sides of the wings. Suddenly, the solo player appears by and attempts to shoot the middle player; but the middle player avoids it by turning the airplane. Then the camera will move into position where all the players that appear on the screen, and then the mini-game begins.
The team of three is shown flying airplanes with a sphere target on each wing. The solo player flies up in a plane with a gun on each wing behind the trio and shoots six bullets that fly past the middle team player.

The solo player behind the other three player attempts to shoot the other three players by shooting pellets within the time limit. More additionally, the solo player has to shoot the balloons that the other three players have. The other three players has to avoid the solo player's attacks since the other player player cannot attack back. Each other player has two balloons on both ends of the wings. If the solo player shoots the two balloons that are attached to another player; the player will fall down with the airplane in it. If the solo player successfully shoots all the balloons all the other players have, the solo player wins. If the three players attempt to avoid long enough even though there's one other player left, the other three players win.
The solo player's goal is to shoot down the team players, while the team players' goal is to avoid the solo player's bullets. The solo player must press {{button|wii|A}} or {{button|wii|B}} to shoot the two targets on each team player's plane as they fly around. A team player is downed if both targets on their plane are hit. The solo player wins if they shoot down all three team players' planes, while the team players win if at least one of them can survive for 30 seconds.

Swervin' Skies is a 1-vs.-3 minigame that is found in Mario Party 8.

Introduction[edit]

The team of three is shown flying airplanes with a sphere target on each wing. The solo player flies up in a plane with a gun on each wing behind the trio and shoots six bullets that fly past the middle team player.

Gameplay[edit]

The solo player's goal is to shoot down the team players, while the team players' goal is to avoid the solo player's bullets. The solo player must press A Button or B Button to shoot the two targets on each team player's plane as they fly around. A team player is downed if both targets on their plane are hit. The solo player wins if they shoot down all three team players' planes, while the team players win if at least one of them can survive for 30 seconds.

Ending[edit]

If the solo player wins, the camera pans to face them as they wave. If the team players win, they wave as their planes fly onscreen.
