At the beginning of the minigame, the audiences are cheering because the players are attempting to attack each other. Then the two players at each side of the play-field come in as the border opens up. All the players that come in go onto their positions, and then the minigame starts.
The audience cheers as the players ride their scooters into the arena and move to their starting positions in the corners.

The players are in these scooters and are here to battle to other players.
The players battle each other to score [[point]]s by shooting balls at their opponents while avoiding being shot themselves. Each successful shot is worth one point; being hit leaves a player briefly stunned and unable to move or shoot for a few moments. The playfield is a square arena with a circular platform that serves to prevent players from shooting each other at the very beginning of the minigame. The player who has the most points after 30 seconds wins. If everyone has the same score that is more than one, everyone wins. If nobody has any points, a tie occurs.


The players attempt to gain points by simply shooting hyper [[cannonball]]s at other players in the play-field. Additionally, the players have their own color of their hyper cannonballs to shoot. When the players get hit by another player, the player is stunned at the moment as the other player cannot shoot hyper cannonballs for a moment.

Scooter Pursuit is a 4-Player minigame that is found in Mario Party 8.

Introduction[edit]

The audience cheers as the players ride their scooters into the arena and move to their starting positions in the corners.

Gameplay[edit]

The players battle each other to score points by shooting balls at their opponents while avoiding being shot themselves.
