To get the Power Star, Mario must race another time the Spooky Speedster. The race is very different this time, because he must be Boo Mario in order to participate. Walls obstruct Boo Mario's path as he descends, and they are only passable when he is invisible; there are also fans that blow Boo Mario to make him go faster. There are some ? Coins that can turn on extra fans if touched. Four Li'l Springies appear in this area to make the way harder. This level is primarily side-scrolling. After beating the Speedster, a Power Star will appear.
