This is the main and only planet, it is a giant skull and is surrounded by bones. If [[Mario]] [[spin]]s on the eyes of the skull, he will get three [[Star Bits]]. There is a single pipe which takes Mario to an oversized interior. Inside there is a large maze-like race course where Mario races the [[Spooky Speedster]]. The only accessible part of this galaxy entirety is a small skull-like planetoid. It is surrounded by three bones that are too far Mario to interact with. The background environment seen in the galaxy is the same one found in the Ghostly Galaxy. He lands near the southern pole of the planetoid upon arrival. Each of the orbit-like craters of the planet release three Star Bits if Mario spins inside them. There is a single pipe at the northern pole.

The pipe brings Mario to the interior of the planet, which is a large, cavernous maze. Unlike the planetoid's exterior, the interior is wholly on a two-dimensional plane. The background of the caverns are filled with wandering spirits, while the foreground has spinning bones, walls of crystal, and suspended springs. This is where Mario races the Spooky Speedster for the second time. The Boo Mushroom must be grabbed prior to speaking to him. During the race, the tunnels can sometimes visually warp. While in his Boo form, Mario can outpace the Spooky Speedster by touching ? Coins in the caverns, which makes nearby fans generate wind. The floor of the cavern is covered in skeletons.
