It has been suggested that this page be merged into cannon. Reason: quote was misunderstood (discuss) |
The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors.
If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.
Stubby cannons are small turrets that appear in both the first tank level and second tank level in Super Mario Bros. 3. Stubby cannons resemble black pipes of various lengths, and are attached to the left side of most tanks in these levels. They fire cannonballs that travel straight to the left. Stubby cannons have the same cannonball speed and firing rate as standard cannons, which also appear in the same levels. Also like the standard cannons, stubby cannons cannot be destroyed or disabled.
In the Super Mario Maker series, similar to horizontal giant cannons, horizontal-facing cannons have a similar function.
