The [[player]] will launch off the edge of a stone structure, on a plane. The whole city seems to be in air, floating. The game will start.
In the introduction, players act as airplane pilots and take off from a stone platform, flying forward through a city suspended in the air.
The objective is to reach the finish first. Players must use the [[Wii#Wii Remote|Wii Remote]] to maneuver their planes through holes or openings of various shapes in a series of walls. As the minigame progresses, columns, floating landmasses, and rotating holes are introduced as obstacles. If a player hits an obstacle or trap, their plane rebounds. If both players make it to the goal at the same time or if five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a tie.

Wing and a Scare is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 8.

Overview
