Special 5 is the fifth special world in Super Mario 3D Land, and the thirteenth world overall. It is unlocked by clearing Special 4-Airship. The world takes place in a brown, desert-like setting at night during a sandstorm with several mountain-like rocks and cacti in the background. It contains six levels and a Mystery Box. Its theme is an arrangement of the game's World 5 map music.
