Whale Course[1] is the third and final level of the Turtle Zone in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. This level takes place inside a whale. The octopus is fought at the end of this level.

Layout[edit]

At the start of the level are two large ribs above Mario, then two Aqua Goombas and some coins surrounded by bumps. Next is a long sparkly platform Mario is able to swim and fall through, similar to the sap from In the Trees. Mario can use it to reach coins and a ? Block containing a Carrot, though there are more sharp ribs underneath. After this are a few more bumps as well as ribs which move up and down, hurting Mario if touched. After another Aqua Goomba are more platforms Mario can fall and swim through. In this area, there is a Para-Goomba and coins underneath between ribs. The Mid-Point Bell comes just after this.
