The star stage[1] is the second level of the Space Zone in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Tatanga is fought at the end of this level.
Layout[edit]
The first half of the level consists of angry stars which act as spikes, with coins that guide Mario through. Some stars also move horizontally or vertically. After a while, there is a ? Block with a Mushroom atop it. After navigating more angry stars, Mario reaches another ? Block with a Fire Flower inside. After this, angry stars start appearing in patterns, with another ?
