A Golden Barrel is a special type of barrel found in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It is a shining, golden barrel found in the back of all five Klubba's Kiosks, and entering a Golden Barrel takes Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, to the Lost World, but only after Klubba has been paid 15 Kremkoins for that world. After the first payment, the Golden Barrel subsequently becomes free for that world. In the Game Boy Advance version, there is a Golden Barrel in every Funky's Flights II, and entering it takes Diddy and Dixie to that world's Funky's Flights challenge.
Golden Barrels do not appear in Donkey Kong Land 2, because Diddy and Dixie simply walk across the screen to access the Lost World.
