Holograms in the Donkey Kong Country television series are holographic versions of characters that are used to quickly travel to another location, and one of the powers granted by the Crystal Coconut. They are not solid and cannot interact with anything in the real world. Cranky is most often seen as hologram, though a younger version of Cranky and Diddy have both appeared as holograms. In "Double Date Trouble," Cranky sings a song in which he explains to Donkey Kong the limitations of being a hologram.
