Electric Balls[1] are metallic obstacles in militarized areas of Super Mario Galaxy. They always appear in sets of four to six, circling wide rims around planets, especially flying saucer-shaped ones. Their behavior is almost identical to that of Zap Balls. A particular group that surrounds the saucer ridden in Battlerock Barrage begins moving and emanating electricity only after Mario (or Luigi) spins a blue screw, which also makes the saucer start moving.
