Nail Call is Mona's boss game in both the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and the That's Life set from the Mash League in WarioWare Gold. The name is a pun on the phrase "Mail call."
Gameplay[edit]
A nail falls into a board and is held down by a man known as Shop Teacher. A hammer moves back and forth above the nail. The player must press the button when the hammer is directly over the nail to hammer it down. If the player hits the edge of the nail, the head will bend. If this happens again in the same direction, the game will be lost; however, if it happens on the opposite side, the nail will be fixed. If the button is pressed when the hammer is too far to the left or right, it will strike Shop Teacher’s hand, hurting him and causing the player to lose. If the player waits too long, Shop Teacher gets impatient and starts counting down from three. When he reaches zero, the player loses the microgame.
- 1st level difficulty: It requires six hits to hammer the nail down completely.
- 2nd level difficulty: It requires eight hits to hammer the nail down completely.
- 3rd level difficulty: It requires ten hits to hammer the nail down completely, and the nail head starts out bent.
WarioWare Gold[edit]
Additionally, the hammer is higher for each level of difficulty:
- 1st level difficulty: The hammer is at the middle-top of the touch screen.
- 2nd level difficulty: The hammer is at the top of the touch screen.
- 3rd level difficulty: The hammer is at the bottom of the upper screen.
Mission[edit]
- Hammer Hog: The player has to hit the nail on the head at an angle 10 times.
