- “Who left those Water Shooters on?! Hey, would you give that valve over there a twist and turn them off?”
- —Gearmo, Super Mario Galaxy
Valves, also referred to as green spigot handles[1] or pressure valves[2] in the Prima Games guidebook, are spinnable objects in Super Mario Galaxy. They are mostly found on airships, where spinning one releases collectible Star Bits. During The Silver Stars of Sea Slide in the Sea Slide Galaxy, spinning the valve near the base of a large tree unleashes a stream of water. Valves are very similar to bolts.
