Turtlevania
Turtlevania
First appearance The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! ("Count Koopula") (1989)
Greater location Mushroom Kingdom
Inhabitants Count Koopula (formerly)

Turtlevania, also called the Land of Turtlevania,[1] is a large hill and forest filled place explored by Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Count Koopula". It is a reference to the region of Transylvania, located in Romania, being a portmanteau of it and the word turtle.

Not much of Turtlevania is shown, though it seems to have a large amount of forests in it, Count Koopula's currently destroyed castle is also located in Turtlevania. Lightning and rainstorms seem somewhat abundant in Turtlevania, as are pink and blue leaved trees.
