The Red Kiddie Kart in Mario Kart Tour | |
Appears in | Mario Kart Tour |
The Red Kiddie Kart is a Normal kart in Mario Kart Tour, introduced in the Mario Bros. Tour. It is a red and blue kart that resembles the front of Mario's overalls. The kart has the Mario Kart logo at the front, and an exhaust pipe resembling a Warp Pipe located close to a plaque resembling an Empty Block; this design is also seen between the pedals. The emblem is located on the sides of the kart. Its engine noise is shared with the Pipe Frame and Koopa Clown, and it uses the Standard tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in-game, although the trailer for the Mario Bros. Tour instead shows it with the Slick tires from the aforementioned games.[1] The Red Kiddie Kart increases the duration of Slipstream boosts and grants additional points for performing Slipstreams.
The kart has two variants called the Green Kiddie Kart, which debuted two tours earlier in the Valentine's Tour, and the Gold Kiddie Kart, which debuted in the 2022 Cat Tour. This makes the Red Kiddie Kart the first kart to debut after its variant.
