Unlike the Squeeklys that appear in other levels, these Squeeklys cannot be defeated in any way, although the large Squeekly shows problems avoiding large walls during the chase and is eventually knocked down by one at the end of the level.

A Squeekly (pluralized as Squeeklys[1] or Squeeklies[2]) is an enemy in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its port. They are encountered in some levels of the Cave and the Forest, and other dark levels. These purple bat-like creatures attack by flying straight forward, and can be defeated from either being jumped on, small peanuts, or an object such as a barrel thrown at it.
