The '''Pumpkin Zone''' is one of ''[[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]]''<nowiki>'</nowiki> many worlds. It consists of four stages and two bonus stages (not hidden stages). From the outside it resembles a giant jack-o-lantern in a spooky forest. Pumpkin Zone is usually considered a mildly difficult World.
The '''Pumpkin Zone''', known in pre-release material as the '''Pumpkin Dome''',<ref>{{cite|date=July 1992|title=''[[Nintendo Power]]'' Volume 38|page=112|publisher=Nintendo of America|language=en-us}}</ref> is one of the six zones in ''[[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]]''. From the outside, it resembles a giant [[wikipedia:Jack-o'-lantern|jack-o'-lantern]] in the middle of a forest. It consists of four stages and two bonus stages. [[Bat Course|The first stage]] takes place in a building home to [[Kurokyura]], and features enemies such as [[Masked Ghoul]]s and [[Boo]]s. [[Pumpkin Zone Level 2|The second stage]] takes place in a temple populated by [[Fireball Boy]]s, [[Kyororo]], and other enemies inspired by Japanese folklore. [[Pumpkin Zone Level 3|The third stage]] is set in a haunted house containing Boos and [[Ghost Goomba]]s. [[Witch's Mansion Course|The fourth stage]] takes place in the [[Witch (boss)|Witch]]'s house, with the Witch serving as the zone's boss.
Pumpkin Zone takes place inside a giant jack-o-lantern, hence the name. However, it revolves around a spooky forest. Stage one actually takes place in such a forest, and features perplexing enemies such as [[Spooky Mask]]s and [[Boo]]s. Stage two takes place in a haunted cemetery full of living flames [[Cyclops|Cyclopes]] and other spooky creatures. Stage three is set in a haunted schoolhouse containing [[Boo]]s and [[Terekuribo|undead Goombas]]. Stage four takes place in a witch's hut; the boss of stage four (and therefore this zone) is [[Witchella|the concerning witch]]. The two bonus stages are accessed from stages two and three respectively.

The Pumpkin Zone may be considered to be the most "normal" of the zones, as nothing out-of-the-ordinary occurs there, and it is not odd like the [[Mario Zone]] or [[Tree Zone]].
The two bonus stages are accessed from stages two and three, respectively. When [[Secret Course 4|the first hidden stage]] is completed, the eyes on the pumpkin light up and start smiling. When [[Secret Course 5|the second hidden stage]] is complete, dancing Boos appear near the gravestones on the zone's map. This is the only zone with two bonus levels.

Greater location Mario Land
Ruler Witch

The Pumpkin Zone, known in pre-release material as the Pumpkin Dome,[1] is one of the six zones in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. From the outside, it resembles a giant jack-o'-lantern in the middle of a forest. It consists of four stages and two bonus stages. The first stage takes place in a building home to Kurokyura, and features enemies such as Masked Ghouls and Boos. The second stage takes place in a temple populated by Fireball Boys, Kyororo, and other enemies inspired by Japanese folklore. The third stage is set in a haunted house containing Boos and Ghost Goombas. The fourth stage takes place in the Witch's house, with the Witch serving as the zone's boss.

The two bonus stages are accessed from stages two and three, respectively. When the first hidden stage is completed, the eyes on the pumpkin light up and start smiling. When the second hidden stage is complete, dancing Boos appear near the gravestones on the zone's map. This is the only zone with two bonus levels.
